Review: Laneige Water bank gel cream

hello everyone, SO sorry for the slow updates, but I need to try them products before I can say anything about them.
Recently I have received from my dear cousin, who was in Korea this summer, if he could buy me some laneige products, since it's really hard and expensive to buy it here in Europe. I have heard ALOT on the laneige products, but mainly have I have heard nothing, but good reviews from the users who have been using these products, and since I have major hormonal acne going on since summer, I needed something new, since my trusted clinique was kinda not help me out that much (which is sad, since I just bought a bottle of face wash, in spring ARGH! But since I'm a cheapo, I am going to use it ALL!)

These are the products that I got from him!

So I wanted to try another BB cream than my skin79 BB cream, I have the golden one, so I wanted to try the pink one, and the one from Missha. It was actually quite hard for me to decide if I wanted to order it or not. But I did it, and how it went I will write another blog post on that.
So of the laneige products I bought (yes i gave him money of course, half of the price, since we agreed the rest would be my birthday gift YAY! )  The Laneige Water Bank Gel Cream, The Laneige Multicleanser and The Laneige Multiberry Yogurt Peeling Gel.

So, the first in line for the review this week is the water bank gel cream, since it's winter and it's freaking snowy and cold outside, my skin gets SUPER dry, and it's so dry that it actually hurts, and normal day cream is just  not enough, and I don't like having a fat cream all over my face, AAAaaAall the time. So originally I wanted the one for my black circles, but this is almost the so here it is.

SUCH A PRETTY CONTAINER! and it comes with a scooper.
When you open it, it has a removable lid, and to keep it from sticking on the main lid (can you write that....)
And if you look closely you can se that it's not a cream, but more like a gel consistancey, so here are the pro and cons.

+It's a gel not a cream, which I really love, then you don't need to use a whole lot of product to cover your whole face.
+It so hydrating that it almost feels like putting water on your face, but it just stays there.
+There is a scooper! aka NO BACTERIAS inside the jar!
+When you put it on it gives a really nice cooling effect, so that your redness are actually reduced.
+... I have to write this, the container, I mean look at the design! It's super pretty.

-It smells alot of perfume, and normally I'm allergic to perfume, so when I opened it I was like.. oh no!.. But when I tested it out. NO REACTION.. which is a plus, but the smell is a bit of a minus, since I can smell it on my face.
-There isn't alot in the jar, so I'm a bit aaaah... especially since I know that this stuff isn't like cheap cheap. It says that there is 50 mL in, which should last while, but from the looks of it.

So this is my review on this product, and as you can see I really like this product alot, even if it smells a lot of perfume, I still love this stuff, and my skin loves it! When I put it on my face, my redness is reduced, the dryness is like GONE, my dark circles are reduced, so I really LOVE this product. My cousins who are 12 and 14 tried it out, and they were like "WOW!! It's like walking outside the cold wind is softly hitting your face!" and I couldn't agree more!. So this is it from now, and I am moving out next week so I hope that I will be able to post before that.
Merry Christmas everyone, and take care.

September Goodiebox

So recently, as you all know I've signed up for the goodiebox order, and my do I love it! I have received some good stuff every month, for like 110Dkr!

A lot of the products are about 300kr and it's something I could never afford on my own.

So here is the september box (I know... I'm late but the box comes in at the end of the month)
And what was in the box DUN DUN DUUU
Out of the 3 boxes i have received these past 3 months, this one has been my favorite so far.
Why? Because last month I was like.. "oh I ran out of liquid eyeliner... maybe I should get a new one.. but argh! low on cash"
"Oh yeah Maybe i should get a new eyebrow kit, because I don't have one, and I AM lacking eyebrows... thank you genes"
But then Tada!!!
In the box was:
1. Orofluido (hair oil) full size 129Dkr
This oil is so great, it doesn't look greasy in your hair, and it smells so nice of vanilla. I use this either before I take a bath or when I'm styling my hair. It actually keeps my hair looking healthier and it funny enough, does not make my hair look ew greasy after a few days.

2. Eyebrow kit from Oriflame Full size 69 Dkr
Awesome small kit that you can have in your purse, and it contains 1 mirror, 2 brushes, 2 powders in light brown and dark brown and wax. This is very easy to use even if you have no experience in using eyebrow powder and wax. The angle brushes makes it easy to make fuller brows.

3. Oriflame Eyeliner stylo Full size 110Dkr
Thick fluid eyeliner, easy to use and lasts all day

(Sry guys I have no pictures of the rest of the products since it was samples)

4. Max Factor Facefinity All Day Flawless 3-in-1 Sample, full size costs 149 Dkr
I've tried this one in the stores, and it's very light and has a good coverage, it reminds me a bit of a light BB-cream.

I had to copy paste that one becasue the name was so long
This one I haven't tried yet so I can't give a proper review on this one, and it's only a sample I got, so when I got it, I wasn't like OMG! I have to try this. But.... It does smell like cacao.

6. Loverdose L'eau de toilette Sample size. Full size costs 275Dkr
Girly smell of flowers. But this perfume is not one that you can build up, since the smell is a bit strong.

7.David Beckam The Essence
I gave this one to my brother since.. it's a male perfume, but it did have a nice scent, and it wasn't to strong.

I really love the goodieboxes, and I save so much money just by being a member, plus I can blog about it dooo''h

A few days ago, when I was visiting family my uncle asked me if I had seen the video, with the girl who committed suicide. I told him no I haven't seen it, but I have heard about it on the news. My aunt from Australia had come by for a quick visit, from France to Denmark and back again. So my focus wasn't that much on the news and what was going on around the world. Normally I'm quite updated and I know what goes on around me.
At first I didn't know if I wanted to see the video, since it might open some old scars of mine. I saw it recently and I cried for her and I couldn't help but feel so sorry for how the mind of the young people works.
I always get heartbroken when I hear about someone taking their own life. Life is just way to precious for someone to go and take their own life.

I was bullied from kinder garden, to middle school, and until high school, I thought it was horrible; the only time when it actually almost stopped was in 8-9th grade and again in my 3'rd year of high school. I remember every episode so well; I remember how I always got into a fight with another child, in kindergarten, so that I actually came home with bruisers all over my face. My father got so upset, but no one else in the kinder garden did anything about it, and we are talking about me being 4-5 years old, and already there the bullying started. Why? Because I was different, we lived on the countryside, and Asian people were a rare sight to se. So my black hair and brown eyes stood out a lot, and I constantly got into fights! I later joined my father in the martial arts world at the age of 5, and it helped me put a stop on the bullying, and the child who bullied me never touched me again, and told me he was sorry and he just wanted to tease.

But there is a BIG difference between teasing and bullying, when you tease you know when to stop, when you bully you don't, then you really want to hurt someone, even though you might not be aware of it.
When I moved into middle school I was bullied the first few years, and got into fights again, but it didn't last long, since it was a private French middle school they were quite strict with the none bullying, and because we all were mixed ethnicity it didn't matter how you looked like, which country you were from, because we were all so different and the school was based in central Copenhagen, and all the children were so nice, so the best time I had was actually at the French school in Copenhagen.
Then we moved closer to the city, and due to my parents struggling with picking me up on time, since I was always the last one to be picked up from school. I had to move school, to a school that was closer to our new home, and the first few years on that school was horrible. I remember how my school bag was tossed into a garbage can, and how they always hid my school stuff, and how they always poured me with water, and how I would go home soaking wheat, and how I was always teased with how different I looked, and they even placed sausages in my hoodies, GOSH it was disgusting. I really thought that there was something wrong with me, and I always asked myself, why is it that I HAVE TO look so different, so I keept on blaming everything on myself.
But compared to others I was actually quite lucky I had friends that came to my aid and said stop, this is not okay, and I am forever thankful for them, because without them I would never have made it through. They always told me everything is going to be alright, and don’t mind them they are just stupid and there is nothing wrong with you.

I don’t think that the youngsters realize how much of an impact and scaring they actually make when they bully, because there are some people who are not fortunate enough to have someone by their side. Amanda just needed 1 person, just one person outside her family to say that everything was going to be alright. So please look around you, and say/ask “STOP!/how are you? Are you okay?” because there are some people who actually need to say no I’m not okay, instead of just brushing it off and leaving them to themselves. Many people grow stronger from bullying, but they always need someone to support them, so please help them and be there for those who needs someone, but don’t do it out of pity or because you HAVE TO! NO! But because you actually want to do it, so think before you act.
I was mainly bullied with my looks, I was a lot younger than everyone else, so I was pretty much late with my “evolvement” into puberty and I no looks, no boobs, no ass, I was really nerdy and corny, and in high school there was even crazy rumors about me, and I lost a couple of friends from that. But it helped me “clean” out the bad people and the good people, how? Well your true friends will know that it’s not true, even if they don’t speak to you, about it they know if something’s wrong, the bad people are those who chooses to believe in the stories and then cut you off.

People change so much with time, and I have absolutely no problems now, because I have such awesome people around me, and my looks have improved a lot. I just needed to always tell myself, you know what you are a lot younger than the rest, and you are Asian so of course you develop everything a lot slower.
But I don’t know what would have happened if I didn’t have my friends during all these troubling times, so I want to take a moment and thank them. THANK YOU! For always being there for me, and telling me that everything would be alright and it did, I couldn’t have done it without you (so cheesy <3 font="font">

(How to stop the bullying.. stand up for yourself! YOU have to say stop! and that enought is enough!)

Thank you for reading this very personal blogpost, but bullying has to be stopped and people need to be aware that it’s out of the question to bully someone, so in order to help others who are being bullied and give them hope, I am tagging all my readers to tell about their opnion on bullying and if they have been bullied to tell their stories.

Kate Moss Lipstick review

(BEWARE.. a bit photo kissy mouth spam)

I've been in love with the Kate Moss packaging lipstick for at while. I love her signature and the mate case, it makes it so pretty.

Plus i really love the rimmel crown on top of the lipstick, I know it sounds stupid but the colors of the cases makes it look SO sexy!!
I have über dry lips, so I was really exited to try this out, since the commerciel said that it should be quite soft, smooth and hydrating, and thumbs up for that it is! The texture is so soft!

I bought a red mate lipsstick no. 110 (even though it looks rater pale on this picture sorry for that) and a coral mate lipstick no. 13. The only thing I'm a bit disappointed about the packaging, is the names.... there are no names just no... that sucks!! Come ooon Rimmel!! funny names are the best!!! Just like th O.P.I's nail polishes!
Here are two swatches in two different lights.

 -The color is vibrant
-Last for about 5-6 hours
-Doesn't feel like a lipstick

-Smells a bit to much of perfume to my liking, but not like crazy much just a hint
-It sticks a bit on everything (cups.... for example)

Hello Everyone

I finally received my good box!! And now you're probably thinking, what the heck is good box. WELL my dear readers I shall tell you, if you’re from America then you will probably have an idea, or if you’re from UK. It's almost like Glossy box, but this is just a Danish version of the glossy box.

The idea of the good box, is marvelous and genius, you pay a certain amount of money per. month for me it's 100 or per month, and you will receive some samples, or full sized products from different skincare/make up companies.

I love the packaging, but I expected it to be just a biiiit more girly .

Here are the product! This is actually my first time receiving a package so I really liked the fact that (since I'm a major allergic) this was products that wont give me an allergy break out, and of course just like Glossy box they put a small welcome card in the package and on the pack, is the individual product information and the original price of the products if they are full size.
So how this work is, you pay 100 kr for a package every month, your not bound, that means you can resign whenever you want so your not obligated to keep on paying for a box. After you've tried the products you go thei website www.goodiebox.dk and give your opinion on the products.
I will be posting my opinion on the different products on their website and my blog.
The only thing that I think is a bit of a downer that glossy box has, is american products that i really love, but Sephora came to denmark in March, so I think it won't be long before there will be a collaboration.

5 Tips to better skin and a better lifestyle

Hello Everyone
So here are my 5 tips on how to stay healthy and prevent crazy motherfucker break-outs on your skin.

Gaining weight is something that we all unfortunately experience at least once in our lifetime, and some gain weight easier than others. But it always happens at some point in your life, even if you are not the type of person that gain weight that easily, then it is actually possible for your metabolism to change, and it usually happens after you turn 20.
Break-outs/pimples on your skin, is not something that I have a miracle for, but I do have tips to prevent the out-breaks. Your skin tells a lot about you, like the state of your health, for example of you’re under a lot of stress, then the break-outs will tend to come out easier. I can’t tell you how you can immediately remove you’re break out’s but I can tell you how to prevent it from happening to often.

So the first tip is also the most important thing of all WATER.
1-Water is such an important component to the body, and the most healthiest way to stop you’re thirst is actually to drink water. Water has so many benefits, and it contains a lot of vitamins and minerals. It also helps you cleanse you’re system, and yes if you’re pee is yellow then you don’t drink enough water, which means you are actually dehydrated, by not drinking enough. We can’t always keep track on how much water we actually drink, and that is why I recommend that you keep a bottle of water near you at all times, so during the day, you can actually keep track on how much water you drink.
When you cleanse you’re system with water, then you also prevent break-outs/pimples on your skin, since the reason to break-out/pimples, is that all the pollution, fat, waste from digesting food and so on. If they can’t get out through you’re system then they are forced to move through your skin. And I know that it sounds disgusting, but that is how the body works, it will find some other way to get the waste out of your body. So the more you urine you produce, thus more of the waste comes out of your body.

2-Ecxersise is key to prevention, and what kind of prevention, almost everything. It prevents you from gaining to much fat weight and more muscle weight, it helps your breathing by expanding your lungs, and you’re giving you a better glow spiritually and physically, so that your health improves.  A lot of people may know this already, but there is good fat and not good fat, good fat is based on your thighs and your butt. The bad fat is based on your stomach, and isn’t good for you. The good fat benefits has a layer of Fat supplies essential fatty acids (EFA) and in addition, fat ferries vitamins A, D, E, and K -- known as the fat-soluble vitamins -- into and around the body.  Our body doesn’t naturally produce EFAs and we have to obtain it via food, so this is good fat that helps your skin and studies shows that it actually prolongs your life. A lot of people often get body fat (bad fat) and the equate dietary fat (good fat) with each other, so when you instantly look in the mirror and think you have a big butt, but think about it, it isn’t your butt and thighs that is bad for you but actually your stomach fat also known has body fat.
The mental part of exercising is the pride you get afterwards, which is the good feeling of being proud of yourself. I’m not saying that you can’t be proud of yourself, any other way. But you get a better acceptance on how your body is built. We are all different, and we come in every size, color and shape, so remember to love yourself no matter what.

3- Getting enough sleep!
This is very important, which is very hard if your under pressure for example during exams or work, but getting enough sleep, helps you concentrate better and gives you a calm mind. That is one of the reason to why people tend to have a short fuse and end up snatching someones head of for no particular reason. It also helps your body to recharge, giving it some rest. Our bodies aren’t machines that can run constantly without sleep, we do need recharging, and if we don’t get enough sleep, the result will be, stress, anxiety and our sleeping and eating habits will change, and so will our skin. That is why some people tend to break-out when they are overseas, because of the jet lack, plus big huge black bags under your eyes is not something that everyone wants, and it is something that you avoid by getting enough sleep. So remember get enough sleep! I admit myself that sometimes I don’t get the enough sleep, but I still try my best.

4- Eat healthy
Big topic coming up, yes it is important to eat healthy, for example I have been a very busy 3 months, I have been working during the morning and going to school around the afternoon, and when I had to stop somewhere for lunch, it would be fast food and so unhealthy, and it showed on my skin not long after. It was first after I noticed my crazy break-out’s that I thought to myself, maybe it was about time I packed my lunch instead of going out and buying it. When I started doing so, it didn’t take long for my skin to look fairly nice again, and even if I washed my face daily, I still have problems with my skin. Eating varied is very important, and that means minimize the fast food to a minimum. One of the reasons to why people tend to gain weight when they eat junk/fast food, is because of the high amount of salt in the food. Salt holds onto water, which means if you eat a lot of fast food, then you hold onto the water that is in your body aka you start gaining weight.
Another great tip I got recently is the difference between salads, everyone knows salads, but actually really few people know what they actually can do. So for example what do big salad heads contain….. They contain water, so if you exercise and want to keep on being full during the day or when you exercise you actually have to eat big salad heads, because they contain water, which contains minerals and vitamins.
If you want to lose weight you have to eat much smaller salads with a small stalk, like roculla (I think it’s spelled that way) But they contain less water, and is very good for your digestive system, because it gives your stomach something to work with, but it has a bitter taste, so I recommend not to eat it by itself.

5- Mental balance
Remember always to love yourself for who you are, no matter what other people tell you. Always be true to yourself, and honest, and accept yourself and your body, don’t hate your body. But tell yourself that YOU ARE beautiful, even if you are trying to make a better you, don’t forget yourself and lose track of yourself. And remember to keep pushing on to your goals. Acceptance is the key for a good mental balance, accepting who you are and your body is very hard for a lot of people, and even if you set a goal that says I want to lose weight or I want to change this of that, then always remember to do it for yourself and not for others, or it might backfire at you.
Meditating is something I really enjoy doing, and I know that for many this really sounds so hokus pokus. But no it's simples you go into a sort of nothing box, to rest your mind by thinking og absolutly... nothing, and that can some times, make you more patient and less stressed. There are different ways to meditate, so I suggest that you contact someone you know in the martial arts department, or yoga, because it can help you calm your mind, but if people are up to it I can make a small blog tutorial on how I do it.

Thank you so much for reading; I hope that my five tips help you in any way.

New Hair Color & review of L'oreal Féria

Hello Everyone :)

Last week I got a new hair color, I was a bit tired of always using the semi permanent coloring. Since it would leave my hair faster than i could count to ten, and I would always, ALWAYS only get to enjoy the coloring for like 2 days and it was gone after that.
And for those who have been following my blog, you know I have been talking about the L’oreal color pulse before, I now only have half a package left of the Peps Violine, and a whole package of electric black.
But since it doesn’t last very long in my hair, I’ve decided to save it for a special party event.
Instead of semi permanent I used permanent this time and I chose this brand.

Féria by Préférence P37 Plum Power

It’s the new and improved hair coloring from L’oreal, and they write on the package that the coloring has improved to a more vibrant color, and I must say wow they are not even kidding. I got one of my good friends to help me color my hair, since she is currently studying to become a hairdresser, she really wanted people to practice on, so I volunteered, since I wasn’t happy with my bleached hair that was caused by the sun.
You can see here on the picture that my hair, is not black black, it's actually dark brown, and when the sun says hello during the summer, my hair gets lighter, which is normally not a problem if I have my hair down, but a huge problem when I constantly have my hair up in a ponytail. So when I finally to have my hair down, my hair has a weird color, because it would be lighter on one side, then some here and some there, so that is why i decided to color it, normally I don't color my hair that often. (1-2 a year)

So this is the picture the before and after coloring, if you click the picture bigger you can see that it has a strong plum color. The coloring itself did hurt or itch, but I do recommend to do the coloring outside or open a window, because the ammonium smell is quite strong, and I know alot of people are against ammonium, but it you want a long lasting haircolor, you need to use a haircolor with ammonium and Hydrogen peroxide This ingredient, comes in varying forms and strengths, and helps initiate the color-forming process and with  ammonium acting has as a catalyst, when the permanent hair color comes together with the peroxide, it creates a longer-lasting color. Another good tip is to have a towel, in a dark color, because red coloring get's on everything and everywhere!
Especially the first few days (4-5 washes, then the excess coloring will be washed out) after the coloring when you're taking a bath, and no white clothing before you know that the excess color is out of your hair, because when you start to sweat, it stains your clothes like crazy!
When I first stepped out to see the finished result, I was a bit shocked at how red it was, but it was mainly because I was standing under a spotlight, so for someone who has semi black/brown hair to suddenly have that bright a red color.... that was a shocker.
But when I stepped out of the light, it wasn't that bad, has you can see on the picture it's actually more of a shine. But the shine is actually different from where the light hits, sometimes it' actually a bit purple and then it changes to red, and I didn't notice at first, but Hopy actually pointed it out for me, my comeback joke to that was "I know... It's not a mood ring, it's mood hair"

Has the most allergic person of all time, I can recommend this brand, but you should still (no matter what) do an allergic test reaction, to test if you're allergic to the hair coloring or not. But for me it worked perfectly not itching, no pain, no sudden rash on my scalp, which is something I normally easily get. The other plus about this product is the tube of conditioner you get with the package. It protects and enhances the color, it last about 6 weeks, and I know it works, since I got a compliment from a guy in my class, who pointed out that my hair was more red now than a few days ago, so that's a plus.
So at the moment, no downside beside the smell. I hoped you enjoyed the review and my great new haircolor.

Thank you for reading and have a fabulous day
Over and OUT!
